The large dining area , that includes the bar , offers views that simply can ’ t be explained . Looking out across the Sound working ships ply their trade , fishermen come and go . It ’ s a similar view from the lower rooms , all much closer to the waterfront , it has an old world charm that easily draws you in , a few hours can be lost quite easily .
Local timbers add an ambiance that creates the illusion of warmth , or is that the heat rising from hydronically heated concrete floors ? On a cold evening its enough to make you want to stay indoors and admired the views behind the large picture frame windows .
The rooms , just eleven of them , are spacious and simple , with an almost Scandinavian feel . Minimalist appointments , that ’ s part of the charm , yet the beds are large and luxurious with the finest linen , it
