the front or rear brakes .
The footpegs , wide and toothed , are oriented to offroad riding , devoid of any rubber cushioning blocks , not really needed when a Zero DSR / X offers no engine vibrations as witnessed by an internal combustion engine cousin .
Orientated to off road conditions , the Zero DSR / X is equipped with a 19-inch front wheel , even allowing for the option of spoked rims for greater capability on the rough stuff , something we endeavoured in our weekend of riding . The DSR / X is rock solid when riding two up on the hardtop , sportily holding to the curves and hairpins of the mountain passes . The torque from the Z-Force motor propels rider and machine from any corner like a bullet from a gun , while braking , both conventional and from the built-in engine braking pulls the DSR / X as good as any sportsbike .
The Zero Motorcycles DSR / X provides a real lust that combines the pleasure of riding with that of a soul that drives an awareness that we shouldn ’ t be polluting our home . With a slight change in mindset , the future of the adventure bike could already be here . ES & CZ
