rider to attain what works best adding to any travellers adventure . Our experience was that we never had any issues with power supply nor range , and in many ways the Zero DSR / X added to our philosophy of travel as we fit in with its times , its rhythms , its performance .
There is no doubt that the DSR / X is a bike that was born to travel . The riding position is comfortable and upright , the protective windshield , adjustable in height by means of two knobs , the panier set produced by SW- Motech , the German leader in the sector of adventure motorcycle accessories known for the quality of its products . In this model , it is the whole product that is perfected , raising the bar and placing the DSR / X at the top of what Zero Motorcycles offer .
The perimeter trellis frame is completely new , as is the engine ; the Z-Force 75-10X which is located behind the battery pack and centred on the fulcrum of the swingarm . Suspension , as always , is provided by Showa but is now equipped with all the adjustments that allow it to be optimised even with the additional weight of rider and pillion plus luggage .
The new crossover from the Californian based company also demonstrates important improvements compared to the SR / S . The electrical system is updated with a battery capacity raised from 15.2 to 17.3 kWh , which can also be further raised to 21 kWh if you adopt a Power Tank , sold as an option . The charging speed of 6.6kW also sees an increase over the previous version .
The DSR / X boasts a complete set of electronic rider assistance controls . Bosch Motorcycle Stability Control has been added as an example with the aim of making the bike perform perfectly in any condition thanks to technology capable of accompanying you in the ride and helping with such things as traction on any terrain .
