The Flinders Classic is an annual event , fully catered and supported , with the central location at Angorachina Village . Stuart Duisberg and Leona Le , along with their team of volunteers , welcome anyone to enter regardless of skill level or capability , through an all-inclusive atmosphere .
New routes are sourced each year providing those who have ridden the classic previous to experience different areas of the Flinders Ranges . The 2022 edition saw riders take on the lands and trails of Mount Falkland , Moolooloo , Narina , Alpana , and Motpena Stations ( farm / ranch ). Local Aboriginal custodians of the land , representing Wadna , welcomed all riders to their country and heritage .
The final ‘ official ’ night of the Flinders Classic held a special place in the hearts of many , dedicated to fellow rider , Rhydian Phillips , who sadly passed away earlier this year . Rhydian was multiple entrant of the Classic . A charity auction and awards presentation were held in honour of Rhydian through the Black Dog Institute .
