The riders , who wore an eye-catching array of cool helmets , goggles , jackets , and costumes , continued around the stunning lake in the direction of Toggenburg , before the route led back to the Glarus finish via the aid station in Wildhaus-Alt St . Johann .
The rules hadn ’ t changed since Covid , riders encouraged not to ride at speed but instead stick to a plan to be the closest to the average time set by all riders . While a competition the Alpenbrevet is more a celebration , one of the strange little machines , a cross between bicycle and motorcycle .
Big names are attracted to the Alpenbrevet . In 2015 , Spanish MotoGP racer Dani Pedrosa took part when the riders started out at the Cornaredo Stadium in Lugano . He explained its allure when he said , " When you are here in
