respite from the harsh southern sun , providing respite from Tasmania ’ s frequent rains . Food vans , coffee carts , a stage , a bar . Ringed in by vendor stalls , and information tents , the festive atmosphere made more so by the stage housing some of Tasmania ’ s best live music .
Nearby , the grassed hills provided location for a number of tracks and courses where Harley Davidson ’ s drag raced the best Japan and Europe have to offer . It made for great action and plenty of laughter . A short walk and a slalom styled uphill course presented more laughter , it didn ’ t get much better .
A campground offered home to many more motorcycles , adventure , street , and more , all represented amongst an array of tents , vans , and campers . A community feel similar to that of a small country town , highlighted by the Tasmanian location , everyone leant a hand when heavy overnight rain soaked the ground , bikes , cars , and trucks , all bogged . Many more laughs .
Spirits dampened little by the overnight drenching , adding to the drama and laughs as many bikes were ridden across the fields to a nearby private beach and the outlet of the Buxton River . The sand soft and deep , drawing the
