Royal Enfield have released details of their first Adventure crossover bike ; the Scram 411 , a bike they say is engaging , accessible , and street capable , with the heart of an adventurer .
The Scram is based on the 411cc platform of the Himalayan single cylinder mated to the Harris Performance Chassis , something Royal Enfield says provides great street ability with competent off-road capabilities .
The Scram 411 is already available in the Indian market and will be available in most other international sectors later this year . Pricing and availabilities of colours will be released in coming months .
The Scram 411 is a continuation of Royal Enfield ’ s pursuit of exploration , building motorcycles for every occasion . This led to the Himalayan , Royal Enfield ’ s flagship adventure tourer . The Himalayan has fostered a sub-culture with it ’ s unique design and all-round capabilities , it ’ s one of Royal Enfield ’ s best-selling bikes , leading to the design of the crossover Scram 411 . The all-new Scram 411 is a ‘ new subspecies ’ that Royal Enfield says has all of the authentic appeal of a scrambler and adventure tourer , with long travel suspension and class leading ground clearance matched with a 19 ” front wheel and 17 ” rear .
