Kiorafoto
What ’ s the saying ? You get what you pay for ? In the case of the Kiorafoto memory card case it could well be true .
When on the road , if you ’ re one of us that love taking photos , you need somewhere to store the memory cards for your camera . Dust and waterproof are a must , something secure that will keep everything together . The Kiorafoto offers just that , a light compact case that ’ s seems perfect for six CompactFlash ®, or 12 Secure Digital , or 12 micro-SD cards . Kiorafoto suggest that the case is dust , water , and shock proof . At around AU $ 14.00 is seems unlikely .
A polycarbonate resin exterior certainly feels tough and constructed well enough to take most punishment . Yes , it absorbs the shock of being dropped , at least from a second storey window however , anything more substantial and it struggles . One of our test cases cracked when landing on one of its corners .
The two halves are ‘ sealed ’ with a weather resistant seal , and while coping with heavy rain , the seal is not entirely waterproof . Despite floating for well over an hour , the Kiorafoto case did let in some water , not enough to damage the cards but is it worth the risk ? The same seal did manage to keep out all dust we put the case through , and we all know what that can be like on Australian desert tracks .
