Flextailgear say the charging time is 2.5 hours , our tests indicated it was more likely around 3 hours regardless of whether using mains power or 12v from the bike . The great thing is the pump doesn ’ t need to be recharged too often . The pump provides around 3.5kPa ( 0.5psi ) with a flow of 180 litres per minute which we found to be good enough to inflate the average hiking size air mattress seven times , Flextailgear suggest you can get ten inflations out of the pump . We didn ’ t see that , but did find it fills average size mattresses with ease in around 90 seconds .
We found the Tiny Pump X ’ s results for providing light to be a little better than suggested by Flextailgear . The eight LEDs provides a colour temperature of around 4500K , similar to that of direct sunlight and has three different settings : 40 , 160 and 400 lumens ranging from ten down to 1 hour of battery power .
