time to move on to continue south .
Unbelievable , the guys dropped back forcing me to take the lead again . I couldn ’ t believe it ; I knew one of the riders was new to dirt but the other two weren ’ t and still they expected me to lead . Patronising , sexist , descriptive thoughts that filled my mind and still I bounced from one rock to another , riding down this road .
Time seemed to slow to glacial pace , the track had taken a serious turn for the worse . Mud had now cover most of the track , in itself not a problem but it hid massive holes filled with more huge boulders . I ’ d slammed into a few of the behemoths already and more were to come , in the distance something loomed , another gate . And yes , more clothes to search through .
Pulling up I ’ d looked behind me and couldn ’ t see bikes following . It had been an opportunity to take a greater look at the clothes hanging like monuments on both sides of the gate . Some where signed , others sported self-proclaiming tokens of effort to venture into this part of the world . In the distance I ’ d hear engines , everything was alright , so I ’ d continued looking .
