' F ' It . It ' s As Ugly As Sin '

It ’ s become a little ugly over the past few years , many would suggest that a BMW F800GS Adventure was never a good looking bike in the first place , scratches , dings , and even a bit of rust all add to the odd look of the GS .

BMW ’ s mid-sized ‘ adventure bike ’ was something of an anomaly when first released in 2008 , the traditionalists were shocked that BMW had the audacity to create a parallel twin powered bike with the chain and exhaust on the wrong side . Yes , that ’ s right , the chain is on the right and the exhaust on the left . The horror !

What made the bike even more odd was the fuel tank located under the seat . Conversations related to this design feature are as varied and heated as a discussion around politics .
