Ride Report : 10,000 Miles To Rio Cinema Libre 2014 77 Minutes
It ’ s hard not to fall into Ride Report ; 10,000 Miles To Rio and find that you want more , this is an easy to watch film ; great story and well told .
Tiernan Turner and Matt Kendall decide to ride to Carnaval in Rio de Janeiro , Brazil aboard a couple of self-maintained , almost selfbuilt , Suzuki ’ s . They have little mechanical skills , little experience , and little knowledge of their chosen route from the USA .
It becomes apparent that both listen little to warnings given by family and friends , choosing to decide for themselves whether this is a good idea or not . The result is a well-crafted film that explores the dangers of central and south America and demonstrates that perceptions can be a dangerous thing . Hell bent on reaching Rio in time for Carnaval , both riders are challenged throughout the journey , via rough roads , language barriers and mostly their reasons . Both soon realise that Carnaval isn ’ t important , it ’ s the journey to get there , the people , the lands , the experience .
Ride Report : 10,000 Miles To Rio is how a travel documentary should be made ; simple , engaging , and real . It ’ s available on most paid streaming services or from cinenamlibrestudio . com
Blood Rider John Kasbe 2020 17 Minutes
In Blood Rider , John Kasbe has crafted a beautiful film that depicts the motorcycle riders in Nigeria that transport life saving bloody to people in need .
At 17 minutes long , Blood Rider is short , sharp and to the point and for that we are much richer for the experience . We follow Joseph , one of the " blood riders " who is tasked with transporting blood to a Nigerian hospital where a mother is struggling with childbirth , her life is at risk .
Within the 17 minutes we are introduced to all characters and able to ascertain a little of their backgrouns as well discovering there ' s a need for not only blood in Nigeria but also urgent action when required .
Joseph comes across as a calm , thoughful man , the parents loving and excited , the hospital staff caring and compassionate yet restricted by a lack of resources and supplies .
When the call comes we witness Jospeh take on the extreme traffic as he fights his way through to the hospital , never losing his cool , one object in mind .
All ends well , Joseph an unassuming hero , just doing his job . It ' s an inspiring keyhole view into a short moment into the players lives that leaves the film viewer much better for the experience . Blood Rider is an outstanding piece of film .
