A Thermarest pillow looks like something your granny would make , a small pillow case stuffed with old rags , yet after a few nights usage you ’ ll wonder why you ever put up with an inflatable pillow or piles of clothes you ’ ve been wearing for days . The Thermarest pillow rolls up and compresses upon itself , stuffed into a contained sack , and in it ’ s design isn ’ t exactly small , in fact it can be quite large yet once unrolled and the filling fully returned to its normal volume these pillows offer a level of support and comfort unlike many other brands . A great aspect of the Thermarest pillow is that it uses materials that would normally be discarded in the process of Thermarest making their other equipment . The outer is extremely soft and comfortable polyester whilst the internal is filled with ‘ offcuts ’ of foam . It feels lumpy but once a weary head is on it this pillow is comfortable .
The Thermarest compressible pillow comes in four sizes , we tested the small which comes in at 41x30 centimetres once at full uncompressed size , the largest is comparable to a normal household pillow . The
