early days of sneaking the bike out of the back shed. Seeds were being planted; adventure and travel. Growing up in country Victoria (Australia) was a great grounding yet he fell for Canada on a last-minute snow skiing trip with friends. “As soon as I laid eyes on the mountains I fell in love with the place.” Vancouver soon became Matt’s base, a place to start adventures, to explore, to ride, to start a business sharing all around. “I rode from Vancouver, Canada to Argentina a few years back,” reminisces Matt as he describes the adventure over an 11-month period. This need for adventure, need to explore led to Mountain View Motorcycle Adventures germinating and becoming a foremost motorcycle ‘tour’ operator in the Vancouver area. “I’m an outdoorsy guy,” Matt continues. “I was spending a lot of time in the mountains of British Colombia on my KTM 950. “I would study Google Earth and Canadian backroad maps and head out exploring as much as I could.” Matt continues that he would do most of these rides alone, discovering amazing trails in the middle of nowhere.
