Moto Tours Asia are one such business asking customers to remain loyal and be patient, they will refund however are asking everyone to transfer the deposit to a future ride. “We are trying to negotiate with our clients not to cancel tours from September,” explained Anh. “Vietnam is pretty safe to travel now; we’re just waiting for the world to open again.” It’s perhaps a little optimistic to believe countries will open so soon, yet it’s a sentiment that many other businesses share. “Customers are keen to ride and will come back as soon as they can,” says Daniel Lexander of Crazy Camel Motorsports run out of the United Arab Emirates. “The great thing about people that ride is that they don’t seem to get fearful and panic, I guess that if you ride you know that things will happen and you just have to move forward.” Crazy Camel run tours and training through the sands of the Arabian Peninsula, it’s not surprising that their custom is a little more prepared, it’s perhaps not something that more traditional motorcycle tour riders are prepared for. 12
