As a traveller, a tourist, a rider the best course of action
you can take is to remain loyal and transfer the refund to
a future tour or ride.
Moto Tours Asia are one such business asking customers
to remain loyal and be patient, they will refund
however are asking everyone to transfer the deposit to a
future ride.
“We are trying to negotiate with our clients not to cancel
tours from September,” explained Anh. “Vietnam is
pretty safe to travel now; we’re just waiting for the world
to open again.”
It’s perhaps a little optimistic to believe countries will
open so soon, yet it’s a sentiment that many other businesses
share.
“Customers are keen to ride and will come back as
soon as they can,” says Daniel Lexander of Crazy Camel
Motorsports run out of the United Arab Emirates. “The
great thing about people that ride is that they don’t seem
to get fearful and panic, I guess that if you ride you know
that things will happen and you just have to move forward.”
Crazy Camel run tours and training through the sands
of the Arabian Peninsula, it’s not surprising that their
custom is a little more prepared, it’s perhaps not something
that more traditional motorcycle tour riders are
prepared for.
