TRAVERSE Issue 17 - April 2020 | Page 112

Amazingly comfortable comes to mind when first trying on a pair of Trailblazer sunglasses, the new model from Canadian manufacturer Brave Vision. The Trailblazer glasses were designed in Canada and crafted in Japan, in fact they’re handmade, ensuring a near perfect fit for most face shapes, the quality is evident from the first touch, the first time placed on your face. In fact, it’s hard to find another pair of glasses that are quite as good, even fashion designer brands don’t come close. The frames are thick (CE standard) and quite tight when wearing a helmet but once on, you’ll find there’s not a design that is much better. The Trailblazer glasses fit snugly, almost never needing adjustment, even under the most testing of conditions like off road. As with Brave’s other model, the Sunseeker, the Trailblazer comes in four different frame colours that are matched to differing lens shades, and whilst not the darkest of lenses, the quality is second to none. You’d expect that from something baring the name of Carl Zeiss; cut and polished in Japan. The tint does its job and unlike many other brands of glasses there’s absolutely no lens distortion. All Brave lenses are AR (anti-reflective) coating inside the lens, which decreases reflection and helps improve overall clarity of vision under bright conditions. These things might not be dark but in many ways, they work much better than your current glasses. They are perfect for bike riding or those that are a little adventurous. In many ways we’d say these are the best sunglasses we’ve come across for quite some time and it gets better; handcrafted, highest quality and limited to just 450 pairs for all models … the Trailblazer and Sunseeker glasses are collectable. Each pair has an engraved number out of 450 on TRAVERSE 112
