This is the first time the ATTA has ever held an event in Australia, signaling the importance of Oceania as a major player in adventure tourism and the company’s growing global reach in the industry. The Adventure Travel World Summit routinely fea- tures sophisticated educational content addressing operational issues, industry trends, and topical con- cerns relevant to the adventure travel industry. Keynote speakers in previous years have included polar explorer Robert Swan, author Elizabeth Becker, and futurist Anne Nielsen.
