'Indestructable Workhorse'
There’s little doubt that a motorcycle can become a
part of your being, especially when one takes you on an
epic journey; one of challenges both physical and psy-
chological. For Benji Brundin, his little Yamaha WR250R
is one such bike that has become a part of him. It’s beat-
en, bruised, battered and just about buggered … it’s Benji
… and together, they’re a team.
The little bike is eleven years old and while it doesn’t
have an excessive number of kilometres on the clock it
does have a great story to tell. From the moment Benji
purchased the bike, on a whim, less than two years ago
it has experienced more than most bikes experience in a
lifetime.
“It had just on 5000 kilometres when I bought it,” ex-
plains Benji.
“I bought it off a guy on bikesales.com, it was the first
and only bike I looked at,” he laughs explaining that he
didn’t even know if the bike was in good condition. “It
