short time frame, allowing us to see rather than find. It
worked for this ride.
Throw Your Leg Over: Tasmania is packed with
photographs providing ample suggestions of things
to see and do, it’s a great touch and works well. The
back of the book also includes a comprehensive list
of accommodation options, mostly of the hard style;
cabins, hotels, B&B’s. It would be nice if there were more
camping options included but there’s plenty of smart
phone apps for that.
The Throw Your Leg Over: Tasmania book comes
with QR codes for included GPX routes and is ordered
either when purchasing the book or by emailing Throw
Your Leg Over. There’s also plenty of short videos that
provide further information especially as to what to
expect in regards to the roads. It’s all well put together
and provides enough information for any rider to keep
exploring Tasmania.
At AU$29.95 per book you get:
•16 Tasmanian route guides
•Maps of every route
•Point to point directions
•Photos of rides and scenery
•Points of interest along each route
