All of a sudden, heretofore un- reachable locations are beckoning. Areas that are too treacherous to ride a motorcycle through become twisty roller-coaster style routes for your sled. Impossible water crossings become high-speed runways marked out with pine trees (called a tree line) or trail stakes. And the adventurous take off into the wilds of the Canadi- an back country once more. I have been what is now referred to as an adventure motorcycle rid- er for going on 7 years. From April until November I ride my motorcy- cle – currently a 2014 V-Strom 1000 – through some of the most beautiful and remote regions of Canada.
