I
’m one of those people who
will never regret not having
pursued their dreams. I'm
happy, proud, of having been
able to leave it ALL and make
a lifelong dream materialise.
I’m someone who thinks that we
should not wait for things to go wrong,
to make a change and explore outside
our comfort zone. All of us at some
point in our lives need a change, the
difference is those who do and those
who do not.
My story begins in 2015, at a time
when everything was going very well,
and I did not lack anything. I had a
good job, a lot of good friends, an en-
viable family environment, the abil-
ity to save money, small luxuries, a
home, a dog and a motorcycle. A life
which I was happy with but, unable

to fulfil a dream which was travelling
and discovering other countries, other
cultures, other ways of thinking and
living. I abandoned everything and
launched into that Adventure; to trav-
el without destiny.
Deciding that a good place to start
was Colombia, I arrived in Cali,
bought one of what I consider the best
motorcycles to travel (Kawasaki KLR
650) and assembled it, and hoped that
it would help make my dream come
true.
The plan? There was no plan.
I didn't care where the ride would
take me, I just wanted to discover
what was along the way. There were
no agendas, no one hurrying me, or
prejudices of any sort regarding the
places I would get to know. My idea
was to know all the countries that I
