take it lightly. On my previous adven-
ture, I rounded a hairpin to see 20 or
so people peering over a guard rail
with a car shaped hole in the middle
of it.
The sun was descending fast, so
I had no time to gawk. I continued
and pulled in behind an ambulance.
A loose term, it was more like a ute,
a truck.
How did I know it was an ambu-
lance and not just a ute? Well, the
tray was down and there was a sheet
with 4 large rocks doing their best
to keep a body covered. The sheet
wasn’t big enough though, so the
feet were hanging out the back of the
tray and it was quite mesmerising
watching them bounce around for 10
kilometres or so.
The Rohtang tunnel which, by-
passes Rohtangla, will be completed
soon but I’ll continue to take the pass.
