‘did’ a wheel bearing and had to be taken back to base. As for the 25 ‘unreliable’ Ural outfits … not one problem not even a puncture. To date I have not had a problem with my Ural, in fact the only problem I’ve had with it is, I can’t stop riding the damn thing! Sunday saw us riding to Dorrigo and on to the new Ural headquarters in Uralla, NSW. Yes, that’s right! The HQ is in a place called Uralla. If you haven’t been along the Wa- terfall Way to Dorrigo … GO! It reminds us of the southern highlands, beautiful rolling hills and a curvy, flowing road that’s fun to ride. Our Sunday afternoon ride took us up the mountain to our lunch spot at Ebor Falls, riding on then enjoying the Waterfall Way and obviously, some of the waterfalls along the way. Mid-afternoon, we took the road in to see the Wollomombi Falls with a photo to acknowledge our four female riders within the group of twenty-five. Nice to see the girls getting involved, a really nice change from the usual bunch of ugly old blokes! What a wonderful weekend, great bunch of people, great roads and beautiful countryside. One of the many pleasures of Ural ownership is you don’t, can’t, speed, so you get to see a lot more and arrive relaxed. We were all so very relaxed! CM, GJ, BS TRAVERSE 67
