TRAVERSE:
Merry Christmas,
Happy Holidays!
A
s the year comes to a
close and a new one be-
gins it's time to reflect
on what has been quite a
chaotic 2017, the launch
of Traverse has domina-
ted our time and thankfully so.
Traverse has allowed us to meet
some very interesting people with
even greater interesting tales; we've
been transported to the most amazing
places, seen the most amazing sites,
ridden the most amazing roads. The
coming year looks even more exciting.
Issue 03 introduces us to the ins-
pirational people at Pikilily and hear
about the unbelievable story of the
Blind Scooter Guy.
We're taken to the wilds of Cambo-
dia and Colombia, and discover the
backroads of Siberia. Trevor Marc Hu-
ghes shows us some of the history of
British Columbia. We also get an insi-
ght into the political history of Bolivia.
Mike Hannan and Chris Foster sha-
re some of their travel insights while
Antonia Bollingbroke-Kent gives Five
Reasons Why ... we should all do the
Pamir Highway.
Of course, we have reviews that we
hope will help with the Christmas sho-
TRAVERSE
5
pping too.
Please check out the advertisemen-
ts throughout the magazine, all are
hyperlinked directly to the businesses
page, and many offer great discounts
for our readers. YES! YOU!
To get into the festive spirit and as
a thankyou to you all, we have a small
give away, thanks to Water-to-Go and
Traverse. Details page 19.
We mentioned briefly last issue that
the rumours doing the rounds regar-
ding the sealing of Australia's Oodna-
datta Track were just that. Rumours!
So this issue we've included a little
piece about the track and it's place in
Australian history.
Have a read of Traverse issue 03,
enjoy the adventure ...
