pads in place while Velcro tabs keep them in the ideal po-
sition. However, if you prefer Draggin do offer a separate
solution; premium knee armour, worn independently
from the jeans.
I have never worn knee pads before and could not get
used to them; but I felt very comfortable in the jeans and
carried on wearing them.
Lined at the seat, hips and back of the thighs with
the Roomoto MR7 + fabric, the protection continues all
the way down to just above the ankle so that it is not too
bulky for tucking inside the riders boots.
It was reassuring to know that I was wearing the most
technologically advanced motorcycle jeans in the world
with CE Approval at both Level 1 and Level 2. As it states
on the label ... ‘Draggin are the most protective motorcy-
cle jeans you can buy. Road-tested on humans - Tortured
by scientists.’ In fact, Draggin Jeans’ receive the highest
overall rating as prepared by MotoCAP 8 of all motorcycle
jeans on the Australian market; 4/5 for safety and 3/5 for
comfort.
Fortunately, I have not had to put the jeans to the test
of being dragged down a road or track as suggested is
possible on the company logo but I was well-cushioned
when I fell off on the Jeffereys Track between Crabtree
and Lachlan, Tasmania. The steep track was littered with
fist-sized round stones which rolled in an unstable man-
ner as we rode up the track. I escaped with some bruis-
ing but it could have been worse without the Draggin
jeans.
