I told them! It was clearly going to rain. We had biked all day from some tiny villiage in the middle of the Netherlands to the border town of Sluis. I said we should stay and put up our tent in a campground in Sluis. We could see the rain clouds closing in but it was only 14 km to Brugge. So we crossed the non existent border into Belgium and started to bike towards Brugge. We tried to wait out the storm (I was right) but we had to go on into the pouring rain, and, if you read my "top 5" article, you know the rest.

Brugge, The Only Town We Saw

We had a great aprtment in Brugge. (I had my birthday there) It had a huge stock of DVDS, A pool, and the apartment itself was larger than our house at home and I had my own bedroom. We went out to see Brugge. We went on a canal tour where the guide spoke bad english, and went to the fish market. (Now, the fish market sells jewelry and paintings.)
