The To Sua Ocean Trench is an amazingly beautiful and surely interesting place. Located in the village of Lotofaga on the south coast of Upolu island in Samoa, this island offers so much. Not only does it capture you with its beautiful and calming surroundings, but its culture is very unique. Samoan people love to laugh, joke around, sing, and dance & are very dedicated to three things: God, Family, & Food. Though they live on a small island, they have a wide variation of food. Early every morning as the sun rises, young men paddle their canoes out in the lagoon to catch fish while others are harvesting what is needed for the meals. They make very delicious dishes which are influenced by European and Chinese dishes. They're usually dishes like umu (oven-pit-baked food), sapasui (chop suey), and puligi (pudding); since they're on an island, their diets arent influenced so much by what society normally eats.
