AP: I have been with Andrew Harper Travel
for six years.

A CAREER?
AP: I graduated from college and worked
in advertising until I had children. It was a
dream job but didn’t work well having a young
family. I stayed home with my children but
was always investigating travel and planning
family getaways for us. I took some classes and
realized that this is what I love to do. I worked
part-time for a travel company that specialized
in Italy until my children left for college, and
then I started at Andrew Harper Travel.

EXPERIENCE?
AP: While I absolutely love Blackberry Farm
and The Inn Above Tide, I have become a
Belmond Fan. I have stayed at a number of
their hotels and been on the Grand Hibernian
Train in Ireland. They provide signature
service and are in fabulous locations.

SPECIAL?
AP: A client was taking his wife to Twin Farms
for a wedding anniversary. I had contact
information for one of their children and
asked them to send a wedding picture, and
then I worked with Twin Farms to place the
picture in a frame and also added decorations
from the college that the both attended. They
were really amazed.

LOVE IT SO MUCH?
AP: Yes—Italy. I have returned a number of
times to explore and always find something
new. I also love the Caribbean and the
beautiful beaches and snorkeling. While I visit
the big cities, I really love being out in the
country, enjoying the beauty of the scenery.

AP: I love to experience it from the
eyes of locals by visiting the restaurants
and neighborhoods.

AP: Helping clients experience a new location,
especially one they have never been to. It really
brings me great joy learning about the exciting
parts of their trip when they return.
