ikchik Narrows Lodge is an exclusive wilderness lodge catering to anglers from around the
world. Totally isolated in the 1.5 million-acre, Wood-Tikchik State Park in Western Alaska,
Tikchik is only accessible by float plane. As such, “elegance in the wilderness” best describes
the accommodations, gourmet meals and renowned level of service that Tikchik provides—with a
staff of 36 for a total of 22 guests, every detail is anticipated and taken care of.
Tikchik uses its fleet of float planes to fly anglers to a different river each day to sportfish. Each
angler is fully guided by dedicated, professional, knowledgeable guides who are courteous and service-
oriented. The surrounding rivers vary from small walking streams to larger rivers near the ocean for
fresh salmon. Fishing expeditions with Tikchik target five species of fresh water fish—rainbow trout,
lake trout, arctic char, Ggrayling and northern pike—and all five species of Pacific salmon.
