One of the oldest and best-preserved estates
in Tuscany, Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco
Villas allows you to live in the tradition of
Italian nobles, surrounded by stunning views
of the Val d’Orcia. Each of the 17th-century
villas offers a unique twist on Italian luxury.
In the six-bedroom Villa Oddi, your family can
screen films in the private theater, work on
your backhand at the tennis court, or simply
soak in the breathtaking views in your very own
infinity pool. Maybe the Villa Sant’Anna is
more to your liking, where you overlook the
golf course and rolling vineyards. Whichever
villa you choose, you will also enjoy wine-tasting
seminars at the on-site winery, which produces
an elegant Brunello di Montalcino red, as well
as a private 18-hole golf club, a cooking school
with organic kitchen, and access to the hotel
spa. It will be difficult to leave such an estate,
but when you do, your transport will launch
from the estate’s helipad.
Your arrival at the Villa Sola Cabiati will not
be by helicopter, though it could be by boat,
right up to your private dock on gorgeous Lake
Como. Just minutes from the Grand Hotel
Tremezzo, Villa Sola Cabiati is an icon of
history built in the 16th century. During your
time here, you can visit the private museum
of the villa, where Napoleon’s own furniture
is displayed, stroll the grounds of your private
garden, or take the gozzo out on the lake where
you just might run into Lake Como villa owner
George Clooney.
