Set up in 1948, this small eatery is located
just a few minutes away from Chawri
Bazar Metro station. They apply kesar
chutney to bread, add a layer of fruit
(take your pick), place some cottage
cheese in the middle, and top it with
fresh pomegranate seeds. There’s cold
coffee and tea to go with this healthy and
delectable treat.

Kabul Restaurant, Jangpura
True to its name, it actually is a little Kabul
opposite Kashmiri Park in Jangpura.
Try their special Chicken Korma
complemented with a deeply satisfying
naan. Feast on Kofta Korma and Dopiaza
which are equally delicious. Don’t
bother going during Ramzan–they are
closed and on holiday. Also try Kashmiri
delicacies such as Yakhini, a mutton dish.
It’s a meat-lover’s paradise!

chhena-stuffed jalebis and Paan Ice Cream have

varieties of shakes and sundaes. Their bestseller:
special chholey-bhaturey made with a secret
masala mix. Soda Ice Cream and Black Forest in
shahi andaaz are also a must-try.
