#307 London’s Best Tea &Coffee Shops From: Our London Correspondents Olesya Nova and Christopher Brown Britain has been a teadrinking nation for a few hundred years, but recently there’s been a bit of a coffee house explosion. I can recommend two cafes right in the heart of London, just off Trafalgar Square. The first has great coffee and second offers lovely tea. Both also provide delicious and inexpensive food. We often hear that Italians make the best coffee, and this particular Italian coffee shop on Chandos Place (recommended to me by an Italian), does not disappoint. Delitaly has great coffee, far nicer than the ubiquitous chains. They also sell hot chocolate, as well as yummy sandwiches and sweet things if you are hungry. St Martin-in-the-Fields, situated at the top right corner of Trafalgar Square, houses a local favourite, the Cafe in the Crypt. My mother regularly came here for lunch when she worked close by. I still remember my first time here; the atmosphere both calming and busy. There are always lots of Londoners and a few tourists roaming around the historic arches. They have afternoon tea and some good British food. The Bread and Butter Pudding and Apple Crumble are scrumptious! 34  Travel Secrets November-December 2015 #308 An Archaeological Gem in Kutchh, Gujarat From: Our Correspondent Nirav Shah Nestled in the Great Rann of Kutchh is a relic of the great Harappan civilisation that thrived on the Indian subcont [
