Brazil, the tropical country, blessed by God and beautiful by nature, receives 6 millions of tourists every year. One of the 40th most visited country according to The United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).
However… Where do so many people go and why?

1. Rio de Janeiro
The wonderful city located in the southeast, has amazing landscapes for every kind of tourist, owner of one of the Seven Wonders of the World and fantastic beaches, besides Maracanã stadium and Pão de Açúcar Tram.
2. Florianópolis
Known as “Island of Magic”, Florianópolis is in the south of the country and is the winner in number of beaches. Joaquina, Mole, Jurerê, Ponta das Canas, Canavieiras, Lagoinha... The historic center has Cruz and Sousa Palace, November 15th Square, the Beira Mar Avenue at night, etc.
3. Foz do Iguaçu
Foz do Iguaçu is one of the most populous counties in Paraná. Bird Park, is certainly a must, where you can have a closer contact with an incredible diversity of birds from different parts of the world, the Buddhist Temple a place to relax and appreciate the view. Besides the Eco-museum, La Aripuca and others.
4. São Paulo
The Brazilian New York. São Paulo cannot be compared with any other city in the country. It is the main financial, corporate and mercantile center of South America. You can find everything you are looking for, as good gastronomy or cultural attractions. Who visits São Paulo must know Ibirapuera Park, Masp Museum and the Municipal Theater. It is impossible not to mention the Municipal Market with their sandwiches, pastries, Brazilians fruits and much more, Paulista Avenue, Oscar Freire Street, and Vila Madalena’s Bars.
5. Salvador
Salvador is the capital of Bahia, a place full of History of brazilian people, their strengths and achievements. There are fancy beaches, the White River Palace, a Cathedral, the Pelourinho and the Acarajés, the ones passing there should try. And no less important the carnival.
6. Gramado
Located in Rio Grande do Sul, Gramado attracts forty four times more tourists than the local population, according to Geofusion (Geographic intelligence company). And it has a reason, of course. Gramado differs somewhat from the tropical weather of the country, which makes Brazilians go crazy to know. There is the Lavander’s Fields, the Mini World with Cities in Miniature, the Le Jardin a fabulous place to rest and have a date, the Dark Lake, and excellent wines.
7. Natal
Situated in the northeast of Brazil, this city is a synonym of fun. Looking somewhere to go? Black Tip beach, Fortress of the Magi, Newton Navarro Bridge, Alberto Maranhão Theater and others, as naturals pools.
