DAY 4: Delhi
Today experience a Delhi City Tour. Head out to Old Delhi, the capital of Mughal dynasty between the 16th and 19th
centuries. Set off on an exciting Rickshaw Ridethrough Chandni Chowk, also known as The Moonlit Square. As you
ride through the narrow lanes, witness the architectural marvels, the multicolored facades, beautifully decorated
shops, ethnically dressed men and women and get bombarded by the fragrances emanating from the potpourri of
eateries that line these historical alleys. Next drive through New Delhi, passing by Presidential Palace, the India Gate
- a memorial raised in Honour of the Indian soldiers, Parliament house and other government buildings built in the
first quarter of the 20th century. It was during this time period that the capital of the British Empire was shifted from
Calcutta to Delhi. End the day with a visit to the World Heritage site of Humayun’s Tomb. It is the first garden tomb on
the Indian subcontinent (“the predecessor of the Taj Mahal”). Built by the wife of Humayun, Haji Begum in the mid
16th century, this monument is a wonderful example of early Mughal architecture. Tonight, enjoy a Welcome Dinner

DAY 5: Delhi - Jaipur
This morning drive to Jaipur, known as the “pink city” for the abundance of pink plastered stone used to build
its massive forts, magnificent palaces and exquisite temples. Arrive Jaipur and check in for your 2 night stay.
Jaipur – the capital of Rajasthan province is known for its arts and crafts, jewelery, hand-painted fabrics and
stone sculptures; it is one of North India’s finest examples of a planned city embodying the best of Rajput and
Mughal architecture. Enjoy dinner tonight with your fellow travelers. Meal: (B,L,D) Overnight: Jaipur
DAY 6: Jaipur
After breakfast, take an excursion to Amber Fort dating to the 17th century. Before the City Palace was constructed
in Jaipur, Amber was the seat of power. The Fort is surrounded by fortified battlements and overlooks the Moat Lake.
Once you are at the fort, stroll through the sprawling complex of courtyards and halls. Continue to the City Palace
built within the fortified area of the original city, with one of the finest monumental entrances in India. Later, walk in
the old city to mingle and talk with the locals while observing some of the regions culinary delight and local artisans in

DAY 7: Jaipur - Ranthambore
This morning drive to Ranthambore – home to the elusive Bengal Tiger and check in for your 2 night stay. The
Ranthambore National Park was once the hunting ground of Maharaja of Jaipur. In 1955, it was declared a game
sanctuary; in 1980, it became a national park. This afternoon embark on a Game Drive safari adventure looking for
the elusive Bengal Tiger. Enjoy dinner tonight with your fellow travelers. Meal: (B,L,D) Overnight: Ranthambore
DAY 8: Ranthambore
Early this morning, enjoy another Game Drive into the park. Ranthambore is considered by many to be one
of India’s most beautiful national parks. A series of forests, lakes and dry scrub that make up the park are
dotted with old forts and temples, creating a wonderful atmosphere for both bird and mammal viewing.
Return to your resort for a late breakfast after your morning drive. Next visit the Ranthambore School of Art
which recruits students from neighboring villages and trains them to be self-sufficient artists. Enjoy at leisure

DAY 9: Ranthambore - Agra
This morning, depart for the train station for your Indian Railway experience toward Agra. Indian Railways is
one of the largest train networks in the world and this short train journey will offer the opportunity to see life
around the countryside. Later visit Agra Fort, a high red stone monument overlooking the Taj Mahal. Tonight,
enjoy dinner with your fellow travelers. Meals: (B,L,D) Overnight: Agra
DAY 10: Agra
As dawn breaks, watch the sunrise over the incomparable Taj Mahal. It is fitting to see this extraordinary
monument by the first light of day as its exemplary beauty is awe-inspiring and will create an unforgettable
memory. Said to be one of the most elegant and harmonious buildings in the world, Taj Mahal was built by
Mughal Emperor Shahjahan in 1630 AD to enshrine the mortal remains of his beloved Queen Mumtaz
Mahal. Return to hotel for breakfast and the morning is at leisure. Later today, learn more about the life and
legacy of Mother Teresa. Later walk through the Civil lines area and explore the old part of Agra and its

DAY 11: Flight Home
Enjoy a leisurely morning before departing for Delhi. Arrive in Delhi and enjoy dinner with your fellow
