Visiting the “Boot”

Italy is one of the most visited countries in the entire world - fifth to be exact. With more than 46.1 million tourists a year, the only thing Italy is missing is you. Italy holds 116,305 square miles of complete beauty making it only slightly larger than the state of Arizona. What most people don’t realize is that Italy is much more than Rome holding the water city of Sicily, the amazing peaks and pinnacles of Carnia, and the beautiful city of Calabria. For all of you site-seers, nature fanatics, and romance seekers – how can you not hear Italy so benevolently calling your name?

Sicily is known to be one of the most unique cities on earth. Most people like to think of being relaxed as sitting in the pool and floating away. If you were to travel to Sicily, however; your idea of being relaxed will change completely. What better way is there to travel than on water? In this city, water is the streets. As you’re flowing through a body of water listening to music and traveling on a gondola why not stop and see Etna, the greatest active volcano in Europe? Yes, there really is a volcano in Sicily. Or better yet, why not go on a guided excursion along the routes of Sicily’s natural parks? With the water being as clear as glass, it looks as if you’re gliding, not floating to your destination. Sicily, without a doubt, has something to offer for everybody.
