Real Talk:

Studying abroad Edition

By Celebraty Guest Ansel Elgort

Dear Real Talk,

I RecentlyI did what every visitor to Paris must do; I dined on crepes at Paris Eclair, with my new friends! I took a short bus ride to the crêperie from the Universitaire de Paris. The restaurant was long narrow and had a crowded, Parisian feel to it. The exposed brick and the red accents in the restaurant added to the European vibe. The two servers waiting on our group were very different from each other. The female was very cold and condescending while the male was very warm and genuine. Paris known for their rudeness towards tourists which is what I observed with female server and there is currently a movement to have the French more hospitable to visitors which is what I observed in the male. For my main course I ordered a house favourite: the mushroom, ham, and cheese crêpes! My crepe was presented beautifully on the plate and was served very warm. I could distinguish each individual flavour however the blend of cheese was wonderful and the overall taste was perfection. The desert crepe was equally as impressive. We were presented a variety of different crêpes for desert but I chose Nutella. The crêpe and the overall dining experience was wonderful and is a must to try on your next visit to Paris!
