2018 has been a year of change, uncertainty and some slight confusion. It was the year
the Travel Antics magazine and photography shop was launched and it was a time
when we went through a significant rebrand of the website. All of these things have
accumulated to build a stronger Travel Antics brand than ever before. But, it has
also been a year of personal struggles, with deaths, break ups and moving from my
home, this year hasn’t panned out the way I had intended it (although distinctly fewer
celebrity deaths). But with every new year comes a new opportunity to do something
better. At least that’s what we tell ourselves during the end of year countdown. But
don’t worry I have big plans for Travel Antics in the coming year.

This edition of Travel Antics is slightly different to what you may be used to. As the
shop has launched and the ability to purchase your own slice of life from around the
world I decided to feature some of the images you could own and hang on your own
wall. Each have been carefully selected from our in-house team of photographers and
edited to make them as colourful as possible. The perfect edition to any home.
In this issue be prepared to learn all about the people of Dhaka, who are fighting to
protect heritage sites from around the largest city of Bangladesh. I had the pleasure
to work with one of the most talented Travel Writers working on the scene today
Samai. And finally read about the birth of Travel Antics in the ‘Land of the Rising
Sun. - Japan.
