Beyond the illuminated
street signs and expan-
sive temples of Tokyo lies
Tsukiji Fish Market. This
woman, lit by a floating
lamp exchanges her food
for Yen, with a customer
on a busy lunchtime. The
street in which she works
is lined with similar live-
ly markets stalls, vibrant
with the bustle of people
exploring a variety of fish
and seafood. Dispersed
between these stalls are
restaurants serving au-
thentic Japanese sushi
to passers by. Busy with
both tourists and locals
Tsukiji Fish markets al-
lows visitors to witness a
sense of daily life in To-
kyo.
