Step back in time aboard USS KIDD , the only Fletcher-class destroyer restored to her World War II configuration and now a National Historic Landmark . Berthed in a one-of-a-kind dock on the Mississippi River in Downtown Baton Rouge , she was named for Rear Admiral Isaac Campbell Kidd , killed aboard the USS ARIZONA at Pearl Harbor . KIDD ’ s crew took Captain William Kidd as their mascot and is officially authorized to fly a Jolly Roger .
