Longitudinal stability Is the resistance of a truck to overturning forward or rearward. Moment Is the product of the weight of the object times the distance from a fixed point. In the case of a reach stacker, the distance is measured from the point that the truck will tip over to the line of action of the load. The distance is always measured perpendicular to the line of action. Track Is the distance between wheels on the same axle of a vehicle. Wheelbase Is the distance between the centerline of the front and rear wheels of a vehicle.
