How do you support the incubatees at the
WHO stage of the process?
The overall focus in all our innovation support
is on building a team with complimentary
skills rather than simply focusing on the
individual entrepreneur. We work to create
capacity across the project rather than
skinning up one inspirational social
entrepreneur who is going to save the world
on his own. From the start we ask the
innovators to bring in their teams in the
process. In our sessions and workshops we try
to welcome in as many people as possible;
everyone who is associated with the project is
invited. This is important because in all the
activities you are doing and all the tools you
are using in refining the innovation and
developing the idea, you need the input from
across the team rather than just from one
