Exciting Changes to Eligibility Process to Access
Outpatient Mental Health Services
Intake process now offered on a walk-in basis
As part of The Harris Center’s efforts to better meet the needs of our community, we
are happy to announce changes to the way that children, adolescents and adults may
access outpatient services.
Adults
To obtain outpatient services for adults,
please follow these steps:
• Adults may call The Harris Center's
24-hour HelpLine at 713-970-7000 to
obtain information on services available
and required documentation and
paperwork needed to assess eligibility
for services. While this step is not
required, it is highly encouraged in order
to ensure that the intake process at the
clinic flows as smoothly as possible.
• Adults may visit any of The Harris
Center’s four outpatient clinics from
7:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. on Monday-Friday.
No appointment is needed, and walk-ins
are processed until daily slots are filled
on a first-come, first-served basis.
