All participants will be issued with 2 boxes in which they can put items that they may need along the road. These boxes will be delivered to check point 2 (Bizaansgat) and check point 4 (Top of Ouberg Pass). Boxes can be collected from either of the race registration venues.

Boxes must be handed back to the race organisation before 20h00 on Friday 25 April 2014 at the Ceres registration venue, or before 06h15 on Saturday 26 April 2014 at the start line.

The box delivery vehicle will be departing from the start venue at 06h30 sharp.

All boxes will be delivered to the Jupiter Lounge finish venue, in Sutherland after the last rider clears Check Point . Participants must please ensure that they collect them from there.

Here are some handy tips when deciding what you want to place in your boxes:

*No liquids pleaseā€¦. If you are putting spare bottles in a box remember that you can fill them at the check point.

*Make sure your lights are in the box at check point 2 as you may need them before you get to the top of Ouberg Pass.

*If you have any specific nutritional requirements place these in your box.

*Put some dry, warm clothes into the box for Ouberg Pass as it may well be getting dark and cold by the time you get there.

*Mark your box clearly so that you can find it at the check point.

All the boxes will be taken back to the finish venue after the last rider clears the top of Ouberg Pass, please collect any item from there before you leave for home.
