Materiality
The Quebec House is a Georgian style grade II listed building supported by steel and concrete sea wall . The building consists of timber frame cladding with weatherboarding and some brick . The weatherboard cladding covers approximately 290.8 m ² of the exterior . Low-pitched Welsh slate hipped roof with rendered stack to left and right ridges sits on top . The interior was not inspected as it was inaccesible . Please refer to ‘ TranquiliTea Edition three ’ page 7 for further information . Fig . 2 below shows a diagram of a timber frame cladding .
