All trangia stoves are sold with either a spirit or gas burner . For users who want to broaden their stove ’ s functionality further , we also sell burners separately as accessories . An extra burner allows you to adapt your Trangia stove to suit different situations and seasons .
Here is some information that will help you choose which burner and fuel will suit your needs best .

The Spirit Burner

THE ORIGINAL AND MOST commonly used burner in all Trangia stoves . It is easy to use thanks to its simple construction and is reliable in all types of weather . Many users appreciate the almost complete silence of the spirit burner . The simmer ring can be used to lower the flame ’ s intensity by reducing the amount of fuel available , and can also be used to extinguish the burner . In temperatures below 0 ° C , the preheater ( found in Accessories ) can be used for increased efficiency and shorter cooking times .

The Gas Burner

A BURNER THAT IS easy to light , regulate and turn off . It is efficient and fast and leaves minimal soot on pots and pans . It works best in temperatures above freezing , but some fuel combinations can handle sub-zero temperatures . The gas burner is compatible with Trangia stoves in series 25 and 27 , Trangia Triangle , and Open spirit stove 23 . The regulator is compatible with the EN417 standard and gas canisters comes in different brands worldwide .
