84% Employees Satisfaction Index for Dubai Airport Free Zone (DAFZA) in 2013

TA staff satisfaction survey conducted by Dubai Airport Freezone (DAFZA) has shown that 84% of employees were satisfied with their organization last year.

The 2013 staff satisfaction survey, which included 215 DAFZA employees working in 16 departments, covered 14 areas where results revealed a rise in staff satisfaction with 90% with safety and health, 88% with communication and participation, 88% with the working environment, 88% with facilities and services & 88% with environment and society.

86% of employyes are happy with the working relationships with their line managers, 85% with the style of leadership, 85% with work, 84% with office logistics, 82% with motivation, delegation and empowerment and 81% with organization, management and transparency.

Commenting on the survey, Yousuf Behzad, Executive Director for the Human Capital & Marketing Division at DAFZA, stressed that staff satisfaction is important for the organization as it affects the level of productivity and the quality of performance among employees.

DAFZA constantly works on developing and improving the working environment and catering to the needs of its staff.

To achieve further staff satisfaction levels the survey also focused on areas of improvement at DAFZA during the coming years, including reward and appreciation, recognition policies, listening to staff views, development of training programmes, staff follow-ups by line managers, development of staff skills, encouraging employees to work in teams & innovation.
