We started Learnactive in January 2008, however, the idea of Learnactive was born in 2002 by my business partner Layla Halabi and I. We initially designed Learnactive as a provider of leaning and development tools and materials, however, based on our research of the market we realized that we also need to offer actual HR and solutions and training programs.

Why did you launch a training business in UAE?

One of the main drives for both Layla and I to start Learnactive was to work on elevating the HR and Learning and Development practices in our markets, especially because both industries are not regulated here and across the Middle East. Our vision is to become number 6, meaning to become among the top 6 HR and L&D providers worldwide.

What Has Made Your Business A Success In UAE?

We believe that staying focused on your mission, objectives and planning our activities was very important for our new business to grow. But at the beginning having a unique service was crucial for our success.

We focused on providing quality services that are based on client needs and we made conscious decisions to stay away from projects we believed would not add value to clients.

How Does Your Business Help Organisations?

By being honest about what we can offer and the value of what we offer to companies' buisness results. We assist organizations in building practical and implementable HR systems and strategies, keeping in mind our culture. We also work closely with clients to customize the soulations we offer to their needs. We assist organizations by developing the HR, and training local caliber to achieve her buisness results.

What Recent Projects Have You Implemented?

We are currently working on establising processes and the standard for desgining and developing learning material and curriciulum for technical topics, and on implemeting the training evaluation model for key training initiatives to measure their impact on buisness results.

Why Is Learnactive A Success?

Quality is one of the main reasons we are successful. We invest the time to make sure what we deliver is as promised if not more. For example, one of our latest products is a line of training programs based on Gamification, which is very new.
