Lots of improvements happened on the
Pinawa Trails in 2017!
Seven Sisters to Pinawa Tread Improvements and Rerouting
The trail from Seven Sisters (partially expropriated in 2015 by the expansion of the
towns’ lagoons) has been rebuilt and improved all the way from the Seven Sisters
dike to The Ironwood Trailhead in the townsite of Pinawa. Over 30 yards of mate-
rial have been spread, ¼ yard at a time, with the loan of MB Sustainable Develop-
ment, Parks Branch dumpcarts and tireless volunteers!
Wayfinding Signage
New wayfinding signs have been placed every 2 kms to
help folks decide where they are on the trail with re-
spect to entrances and exits!
