Importance of Signage
“ The Assiniboine Forest sees in excess of 180,000 visitors a year . There are some 18 kms of groomed trails . It has become very clear given the diversity of the visitors to the forest , that there is a clear need for directional signage to ensure visitors have a safe and relaxing walk through the forest and are able to find their way back to the forest entrance . The Charleswood Rotary Club wants to improve the signage to outline the varieties of fauna and foliage in the forest for added visitor enjoyment . The feedback on the signage work we have completed to date has been very positive .”
