I can’t answer that.

Maybe some celestial being or alien visitor spoke into it, maybe the guy channeled it or perhaps he was a reincarnated time traveler… I don’t know.

But what I do know is that the effect of Mercury upon us humans is all too real. Even those who claim Astrology is a bunch of hooey ends up in a communications quagmire by the time Mercury goes direct.

It’s like waking up out of a dream: What just happened? I have a time share? No, no, boss, I didn’t mean what I said, I love my job! I’m sorry I forgot our meeting, I was...where was I, now? I don’t hate you, I was talking to the dog – what, we don’t have a dog? I know I paid that bill, why is the electric not working? How did I end up in Tennessee? I was going to Chicago!

That’s why traditional Astrology advice says do not make any important decisions or sign any contracts during this time as something just isn’t firing right in your mental process. You can think you know what’s going on, but you don’t.

Even when you embrace the idea that the planets affect us and are expecting Mercury to slid backwards, causing all kinds of havoc and you just know you are prepared this time…you are not!

Never be gullible enough to believe you can beat the crafty Mercury at his own game. You will never best the planet of Communication and since Mercury rules both Virgo and Gemini - opposing energies, one is Earth, the other is Air – we have more layers to be concerned about.

Worse than the external communications that can cause all kinds of distress is the internal and constant questioning of Self that arises during this time. If you think you were paranoid before, hold on to your hat because it’s only going to get crazier!

Or to the point, you’re going to get crazier. If you happen to be a Virgo or a Gemini…well…sorry, kids, double whammy!

I am a Virgo and Mercury is high up on my chart – that means my craziness is on display for all to see. You can, at least, hope that your self-doubt and self-maligning is done in private.

Ok, so what can we do about this?
